Kel-Tec’s semi-automatic P-32 is the lightest, slimmest .32 ACP pistol ever made. The P-32 has a polymer frame, a 2.7-inch barrel with a long double-action-only (DAO) trigger pull between 5 and 6 pounds, an internal hammer block (instead of a manual safety) to ensure the gun won’t inadvertently fire when dropped, and a single-stack, seven-round magazine.

The P-32’s barrel and slide are constructed from SAE 4140 ordnance steel, while the internal frame, which houses the firing mechanism, is machined from a solid block of 7075-T6 aluminum. The ultra-high-impact polymer for the frame, trigger and checkered grip is molded from Dupont ST-8018 and is available in a variety of colors. The slides are available in blued, Parkerized and hard-chromed finishes.

The P-32 is about half the width and one-third the weight of a 2-inch .38 Special snubnose revolver and of most semi-automatic pistols in the same caliber. The P-32’s sights are machined into the slide. The pistol has a long, consistent, 5-pound trigger pull that helps prevent inadvertent actuation of the firearm but doesn’t shift the gun’s position in the shooter’s hand when fired—the P-32 is perfectly adequate for self-defense.
