Suppressor manufacturer SilencerCo continues their trailblazing ways with the introduction of the Salvo 12, the world’s first commercially-viable shotgun silencer ever produced. Watch the video below to see this suppressor in action.

Designed as a suppressor for 12-gauge shotguns, the Salvo 12 boasts a modular design which enables the shooter to add or remove sections to balance length, weight and sound suppression needs. It arrives as a 12 inch suppressor, but can be reduced to 10, 8 and 6 inch configurations when necessary.

As the press release points out, there exists a plethora of rifle and handgun suppressors in today’s market, but shotgun owners have been presented with few options with regard to sound protection solutions. Some owners use earmuffs or plugs to get sound relief in controlled environments, but most do not use them in the field or in home protection scenarios, where sound detection is vital. This is where the SilencerCo Salvo 12 comes in.

“The Salvo 12 represents a revolution in silencers, not just an evolution,” asserts Joshua Waldron, Chief Executive Officer for SilencerCo. “There is a huge installed base of shotgun hunters and shooters that has been waiting for a product like this for a long time, and we are proud to deliver it.”

The SilencerCo Salvo 12 shotgun suppressor is available at a MSRP of $1,400. See below for additional details.
