Colorado-based manufacturer American Legacy Firearms has released three distinct firearms which were designed with and licensed by the NRA: the 1911 Pistol in 2011, which celebrated the 100th anniversary of the 1911, the NRA Hunting Tradition Rifle in 2012 highlighting the importance of hunting in American tradition, and the Golden Fowling Piece in 2013, showcasing the shotgun’s place in fowl hunting. Now, for 2014, American Legacy Firearms and the NRA have teamed up once again for the NRA Special Edition Revolver.

Built on a fully-functional Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 Magnum, this special edition revolver comes with a 24kt. gold-plated cylinder, sights, ejector rod housing, barrel, muzzle, trigger guard, top strap and back strap. It also has a number of special engravings, such as “The Second Amendment Protects the Rest” on the right side of the barrel, “Teaching Firearms Education & Safety Since 1871” on the left side of the barrel, NRA logos on either side of the cylinder, “Molon Labe” (meaning “come and take it” in Greek) on the back strap, and “Don’t Tread on Me” on the frame above the trigger.

Only 100 of these beauties will be made for each state. Each one comes with a french-fitted carrying case. Layaway plans are available. See below for additional details.
