The challenge of concealed carry is keeping your weapon concealed and out of sight, preferably without looking out of place with climate- or situation-inappropriate clothing. Worse than looking absurd, the wrong outerwear can reveal bumps and lumps, giving away the fact that there’s something concealed in or underneath your clothing. In south Florida, where I live, minimal clothes are the rule during the summer months, and carrying concealed is almost impossible unless you know the options. At SHOT Show 2013, manufacturers unveiled a host of concealed-carry clothing items—many of them designed by women, for women—that will keep your weapon secure, out of sight, and yet accessible.
