The flower shops and candy stores now have some competition when it comes to Valentine’s Day gift giving. Gun shops have more customers that are fired up about purchasing presents for their sweethearts.
2-A Shooting Center in Tulsa has recently seen in influx in couples who are opting to buck holiday norms.
“They’ll do dinner, and then a movie and they’ll spend some time at the gun range,” said the general manager at 2-A Shooting Center, Eric Fuson.
Fuson tells FOX23 that, as a whole, gun sales are up. However, he says that customers are purchasing gifts at the shooting range for the upcoming holiday.
“Anything from guns to ammunition, accessories and gift certificates,” said Fuson.
