The Federal Bureau of Investigation announced the names of the 499th and 500th fugitives to make the agency’s Ten Most Wanted list.
“This has been a tremendously successful program, but one that is dependent on the willingness of concerned citizens with information to come forward and offer us their assistance,” Criminal Investigative Division Assistant Director Ron Hosko said
The addition of Jose Manuel Garcia Guevara, aka “Pelón,” an alleged murderer and rapist, and Walter Lee Williams, an alleged child predator, marked the milestone for the list, which was established 63 years ago.
