CAS Hanwei unveils a line of folding knives, fixed-blade knives from Kizlyar Supreme—a Russian knife manufacturer that produces superior performance knives and has been making substantial waves in the knife industry from Russia and Germany to Australia through their innovative design and exceptional build quality at a fair price.

Now available in the US from CAS Hanwei after debuting at the 2013 Blade Show, knife enthusiasts in North America finally have the opportunity to see their entire line of Tactical, Outdoor, Neckers and Folding Knives. The brand is backed by a multinational team of talented designers and engineers from Russia, Germany, Australia and Japan.

Kizlyar Supreme’s knives feature tried and true blade steels in semi-stainless tool steel D2 as well as stainless AUS-8 and 440C. Most blades are available in a satin finish or with a hard wearing black titanium coating. Handle materials include Micarta, G10 and Kraton with a hard ABS core.

Their range of folding knives include from large hard use workhorses and EDCs to gentleman’s folders. A good representation of their hard use folders is the Bloke X in D2 and AUS-8. It features an aggressive design on the G10 scales that provides a very secure grip. Combined with a hard lock-up and D2 or AUS-8 blade the Bloke is ready for just about anything you can throw at it. The Hero Folder and Ute knives make excellent EDC pocket knives with grooved and textured G10 scales and stout 440C blades. For gentleman’s folders you can’t go wrong with the Gent, the unique looking canvas micarta looks good while giving a grippy surface for sure handling in any condition.

Kizlyar Supreme makes a wide range of fixed blade knives for the hunter/outdoorsman, tactical, survivalist and EDC user. One of the stand out outdoors blades is the Savage fixed blade featuring a D2 or AUS-8 blade and sculpted G10 scales. The blade length is an excellent compromise of length and chopping ability and the handle is just about perfect. Knives in Kizlyar Supreme’s Tactical Echelon line include the Alpha Tactical Knife, a general purpose tactical knife with a point designed for penetration. Each knife in the series features a Kraton handle with an ABS core in either D2 or AUS-8 steel. The small but highly capable Amigo necker knives make for a great fixed blade EDC. The G10 sheath provides a solid lock-up while the extra jimping at the back of the blade and near the top allow for grip positions from fine point control to self defense, a very versatile little knife.

The fixed blades include either a tight fitting Kydex sheath with a reversible belt clip for low or high carry or an exceptional nylon sheath that includes MOLLE attachments front and back, an included paracord wrap and integral Kydex sheath that holds the knife securely in any direction that can be easily removed and separated for cleaning.
