Women need to learn how to defend themselves. To that end, the Wilmington (North Carolina) PD and Taekwondo instructor Patrick Sawhill are offering a free class for women.
“We believe when individuals are armed with important safety knowledge and skills, they will feel safer and practice personal safety,” said Linda Rawley, the department’s community resource coordinator. “The Self Defense Class for Women is always a popular class no matter how often you offer it. We appreciate the partnership of New Heights Taekwondo and their willingness to help us in providing this class absolutely free to the public.”
