Aliza Sherman’s life was cut short after she was brutally murdered in downtown Cleveland. In her honor, a Self-Defense Class will be held, which is intended to promote safety for women in the community. The training will provide women with the necessary tools to protect themselves and to prevent a tragedy like this from happening in the future.
The class will be taught by Master Gary Yano, 8th Degree Black Belt and State of Ohio Police Defense Certified Instructor, in conjunction with Partners To Empowerment Wellness Center.
The Self-Defense Class will be held in the Fairmount-Richmond Room at the Beachwood Community Center, 25325 Fairmount Boulevard in Beachwood.
