A man who sued a northern Ohio sheriff after the sheriff refused him a concealed carry permit has won his case.
James Redmon was denied a license to carry a concealed firearm by Sheriff Tom Riggenbach in March on the grounds that Redmon was treated for post-traumatic stress disorder. Redmon’s underwent treatment over six years ago.
Redmon was issued a permit after Judge Charles Steele ruled in his favor.
