The Wisconsin bar, whose owner shot and killed one of three robbers in self-defense, is offering a concealed carry training class.
Bar owner Andy Kochanski shot Carmelo L. Matoz-Arzola when Matoz-Arzola and two other men entered the Milwaukee bar with guns and demanded money. Kochanski performed CPR on Matoz-Arzola after shooting him and called 911. Matoz-Arzola later died of the gunshot wound.
Kochanski said, “The support from people is just all across the country. It’s been amazing. It’s probably helped me get through this.”
A certified concealed carry instructor reached out to Kochanski about holding a training course at the bar.
One of the two other robbers, Jose Munoz, is in custody and was charged with attempted robbery. The third robber is still on the run.
