Homeowner, David Maxwell from Lawrence County, MS shot and killed an intruder, at a mobile home on Henry Cox Road.
Dispatchers received a call from Mr. Maxwell stating his dog was barking, and it woke him up. When he got up to investigate, he found a man in his kitchen and shot him.
“I heard him, he had a nail bar and he tried to pry the door open,” Maxwell said. “I walked to the bedroom door with my shotgun. I just waited and he stuck his head in the door. He came in the door, he turned his headlight around on me and I shot him.”
