The York County (VA) Board of Supervisors meeting room was filled with citizens carrying firearms and emblazoned with bright orange “Guns Save Lives” stickers. Citizens from across the county turned out to support Lafayette Gun Club of Virginia, Inc. in its venture to expand.

The board voted unanimously Tuesday to approve the club’s plans, which included an amendment that a proposed building for meetings and educational purposes be moved to a different location on the property.
