Dozens of people showed up to be part of the first group from the QCA to try and get a concealed carry license. But, it may be awhile before anyone even has the chance to use their firearms in Illinois. Applications for concealed carry can’t even be submitted until January 2014. And prior to that paperwork can be turned into the state, applicants must take a 16 hour class, taught by a licensed professional.
