Phoenix police say home invasion ended with an intruder shot dead.
Initial information suggests that two intruders entered a northwest Phoenix apartment and confronted the resident.
At least one of the intruders was armed and a shooting occurred inside the apartment, resulting in the death of one of the alleged intruders.
The second intruder fled and has not been located.
