With recent home assaults and crime on the rise, some Montana residents take self-defense seriously, working toward arming themselves responsibly.

Classes appropriately named F.A.S.T., “Fear Adrenaline Stress Training”, were held Sunday at Billings Chi-Tu Do.

The goal of the classes is to create stressful, life-threatening situations and teach participants how to handle the pressure.

Participants are placed in a realistic situations forcing them to use the training they have just learned.

Creator of the fast program, Bill Kipp, was also in town assisting with the training.
