A self-defense class for women will be offered at Western Carolina University, at the Camp Building. Designed for women of all ages, the class will include demonstrations of defensive physical techniques. Classmates will practice with each other, but care will be taken to avoid excessive force.
Participants should wear casual clothing and avoid dresses, skirts, high heels, flip-flops and loose articles of clothing or jewelry. Jeans, sweatpants or workout clothes, and socks are recommended.
