Mark Maggots, owner of Trigger Talent, a local firearms business is encouraged by the growing numbers of candidates applying to get a concealed carry license.
His classes fill up as soon as he schedules them.
The class is a two-part process, with 8-hours of classroom instruction at the Alton-Wood River Sportsmen’s Club, followed by 8 hours of training at his firing range.
He says the first part of the training is for beginning and intermediate shooters.
