
In Lansing, Michigan prosecutors, correction officers and certain retired law enforcement officers are one step closer to carrying concealed weapons in gun-free zones. The legislation was approved in the state House, and now heads to the Senate. Under the existing law, those with concealed weapons permits may openly carry guns in schools, hospitals, sports arenas and other gun free zones.
