Charles Carlson, 75 year old homeowner in Pine County, Minnesota was awaken by noises in the middle of the night. He investigated the noises and was faced with a revolver aimed at his head. Carlson was aware of the gun being loaded, “as he could see the rounds in each chamber of the cylinder.”
Carlson feigned blindness and hard of hearing, making the intruder lower his weapon for a moment, granting enough time for Carlson to grab his own loaded Glock 9mm handgun.
