Concealed-carry handgun permits issued by the states of Iowa and New Hampshire, will be legally recognized by the state of West Virginia.
Attorney General Patrick Morrisey announced the reciprocity agreement in Charleston, stating it brings the total number of states that will honor West Virginia’s concealed-carry permits to 36.
West Virginia, in turn, recognizes permits from a total of 29 other states. Iowa and New Hampshire residents can now carry their guns in West Virginia as long as they’re 21 or older, and they have their permits with them.
