
A Sunnyvale, Calif. gun law is the target of a new lawsuit by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF). The NSSF feels the gun-control ordinance, which was passed in November, is detrimental to responsible firearms retailers doing business within city limits.
The NSSF, which was joined by Sunnyvale-based U.S. Firearms Co in the lawsuit, is challenging the new gun law that requires retailers to keep ammunition sales logs and detailed personal information on customers. The law also expands reporting requirements for lost or stolen guns.
