In this month’s “It Happened To Me,” two legally armed citizens tell their tales of survival in the face of deadly, armed threats. In “Three Vs. One,” an Ohio bar owner, walking home after an evening’s work, is followed and then surrounded by three armed thugs. Luckily, the bar owner is also a CCW permit holder, and his Beretta M9 quickly evens the odds. Meanwhile, in “Home Invasion Standoff,” a man returns to his house to find his backdoor ajar. On investigation, he discovers three thieves walking off with his TV. One of them reaches for his gun, but the homeowner, carrying his holstered 1911, beats him to the punch.
