CZ P-07 .40 Caliber
Continuing the success of the CZ P-09 Duty introduced in 2013, the new P-07 Duty is a compact version of this dynamic semi-automatic pistol from the Czech Republic. Recent refinements to the P-09 have been incorporated into the P-07, and these improvements include interchangeable backstraps on the polymer grip frame, a nitrated slide for enhanced durability, and the pistol has been dehorned, with all sharp edges removed for comfortable concealment.
Like the updated P-09, the P-07 has a reversible safety and de-cocker that can be switched with a minimum of time and tools, plus there’s an integral 1913 Picatinny rail built into the dust cover for mounting lights or laser sights. A new trigger shape provides more shooting comfort during long range sessions, and there’s a snag-free hammer and forward cocking serration on the contoured slide. Metal three-dot sights and a beefed-up magazine spring for more reliable cartridge feeding round out the list of updates, making the P-07 one of the best selections on the market for law enforcement or self-defense use. Specifications include an overall length of 7.3 inches with a 3.8-inch barrel and a weight of 1.7 pounds.
