Police in Indianapolis are investigating two home invasions.
Police say an armed masked man in his 20s came through an unlocked window on the first floor, proceeded to go upstairs to the second floor where he encountered several adults, and six children. A fight ensued between the suspect and the adults.
The suspect was hit with a golf club, and he fired off a shot during the struggle but no one was injured per police. The suspect was held down until the police arrived, suffering an injury from being hit by the golf club. He was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for treatment.
One victim complained of some pain, but was not transported to the hospital.
