In Ohio, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office offers Ohio residents seeking gun permits concealed-carry training.
Sheriff Jim Neil stated his office will provide additional training classes.
“I support the constitutional right of eligible, law abiding citizens to bear arms and carry a firearm, and I’m excited that our office can offer top notch training to individuals looking to take on this responsibility,” Neil said in a release.
The classes will meet the state requirement of 12 classroom hours and live-fire training. The cost is $95 for the entire class.
Applicants can bring their own handguns and ammunition. If needed, the sheriff’s office will provide a handgun and ammunition for a rental fee of $40.
