A concealed-carry law informational session is being hosted by The Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office, in partnership with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, at the The Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office, in partnership with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. The Illinois Concealed-Carry session will be held on April 7, 2014 and will run from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Illinois Firearm Concealed Carry Act became law in 2013; however, it was not until January 5, 2014 that Illinois residents were first eligible to apply for concealed carry licenses. In light of the questions that have been triggered on behalf of the community, Lake County State’s Attorney Michael G. Nerheim, Lake County Sheriff Mark Curran Jr. and Undersheriff Raymond Rose along with Lake County Sheriff’s Deputy Roman Buchberger and Assistant State’s Attorney Daniel Klienhubert will educate the community on the newly enacted Concealed Carry Law.
