The Baton Rouge Police Department will host two concealed handgun permit classes, at the department’s pistol range.
The classes, taught by police firearm instructors, are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 17and May 31. Classes, which are open to anyone 21 or older, cost $100 and participants will need to provide their own handgun and ammunition.
Participants only have to attend one session to become certified.
