In North Carolina, a driver for Domino’s Pizza; Ashley Marie Hurd, of 26 years of age, took the order to a house. A man was standing outside once she arrived, and she told him the amount of the bill per Lt. Todd Joyce, Fayetteville police spokesman.
Per Joyce as she was doing so engaging her would be customer, a second man wearing a dark-colored jacket, came around from the side of the house. The man pressed something to the back of Hurd’s head and demanded money.
“Unbeknownst to them, she had a weapon,” Joyce stated. “She pulled out a gun, and when she did, the suspects fled and they didn’t get anything.”
