The Springfield Armory Operator Warren Tactical Series Pistol was instrumental in the HRT selecting the Springfield Operator pistols as primary handguns. Scott Warren who shot and competed with Springfield 1911s for over 15 years spec’d out the handgun.
Warren had Springfield’s Custom Shop incorporate many of his “personal likes” into his pistols. The Warren Tactical Series 1911 combines the best of Springfield’s Custom Shop’s work to build an accurate, reliable work 1911 and Scott’s personal touches to offer a truly fine carry pistol at a great price! The Springfield Armory Custom Shop is proud of the fact that Warren Tactical Series has commissioned us to build the Warren Tactical Signature Pistol. This Springfield Armory TRP based Operator pistol is entirely assembled in the custom shop. We have incorporated some of Scott’s favorite custom competition and tactical features such as, S&A custom magwell, unique top of slide serrations, beavertail modification, 25lpi checkering, as well as Scott’s own proprietary sights – Dave Williams, Springfield Armory.
