Women near the Bloomfield, N.J., area will have the opportunity to partake in a free martial arts self-defense class on Saturday, April 19.
The class will be taught by Grand Master Craig Mason, a personal security specialist with more than 40 years of experience.
Mason will teach the class how to defend from street attacks, grabs and holds, sexual assaults, weapon attacks, and larger and stronger attackers.
“No prior self-defense experience is necessary to attend. Women who have martial arts backgrounds are also welcome,” according to the Jersey Tomato Press.
The class will take place from 2:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. at the Afro Brazilian Cultural Center of New Jersey, located at 554 Bloomfield Ave., Bloomfield, N.J.
