Both the frame and slide on the Auto-Ordnance 1911 are machined from high carbon 4140 steel. The frame has been treated with a high temperature ceramic Cerakote coating giving it that intriguing orange color. This .45 ACP pistol has a 5” barrel, 8.5” overall length and weighs just 39 oz. The pistol has front and rear dovetail cut/low-profile iron sights and a checkered black rubber grip featuring the iconic Thompson bullet logo and held in place by hex grip screws, and it is shipped with two 7 round magazine.
