The Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana is ensuring females are able to protect themselves against criminals. Basic skills are taught and key to boost your confidence by signing up for a Women’s Self-Defense Class. The course is offered at no charge to residents of Bossier Parish and is limited to 40 applicants. Daughters and female siblings 14 years and older may enroll as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
The course will take place from 9 a.m. until noon on May 3 at the Viking Dr. Substation on 2510 Viking Dr. Although there is no cost for the class, the BPSO asks that you donate a canned good or non-perishable item to their food bank program Operation Blessing.
