Sensei Bob McCann will bring his years of karate teaching and training to Gilda’s Club South Jersey in the AtlantiCare Cancer Care Institute on April 30.
During the free “Personal Protection and Safety Workshop,” McCann will teach awareness of environment and enhance participants’ confidence regarding personal protection and safety.
According to Gilda’s Club’s website, McCann “has been teaching karate in his studio in Ocean City, N.J., for many years. He is dedicated to personal safety, especially for women, and repeats his program of safety awareness training and demonstration of self-defense from attack.”
Light lunch will be served from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. with the actual workshop taking place from 12:45 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The AtlantiCare Cancer Care Institute is located at 2500 English Creek Ave., Building 400, in Egg Harbor Township, N.J.
