The YMCA in Anderson County, Texas is offering a free self-defense class for teen-aged and adult females from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 17 at the Palestine YMCA, located at 5500 N. Loop 256 near the Story Intermediate School in Palestine. The RAD (Rape, Aggression, Defense) System will be taught by Donald Hammock, executive director of the Crisis Center of Anderson & Cherokee Counties.
