A California man shot and injured his daughter’s ex-boyfriend, who had stabbed him multiple times after breaking into his home.

The ex-boyfriend, Raiveon Wooden, of Chino, allegedly broke into the man’s home and hid in the garage. The man suspected that there was an intruder in his garage when he entered with his handgun. As he approached the garage, Wooden attacked him with a knife and stabbed him multiple times.

The man, who has not yet been identified, then shot at Wooden, striking him twice.

The man and the Wooden were taken to the hospital after they both suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Once Wooden is released from the hospital, the police said he will be booked on suspicion of attempted murder and burglary.
