Women in Tulsa, Oklahoma will have the opportunity to attend a free self-defense seminar designed to help the local community, which is reeling from an increase in violent crime.
According to KTUL, G3 Martial Arts is set to host the class on Sunday, June 29 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
“With all the assaults and what not in midtown, I’m hosting a free women’s self defense seminar free to the public,” said G3 owner Fred Simpson. “It will be held at 5084 S 79th E. Ave in the Fontana shopping center. No age limit.”
Participants will be taught basic techniques and strategies to escape from a “would-be attacker” and safety return home.
Said Simpson, “We just ask that you call or come by to register for the event by Saturday, 918.638.4555. See you on the mat!!”
