Etymotic Research recently announced that their GSP•15 Electronic Earplugs would be offered in a newer, more compact look inspired by the company’s “Bean” Quiet Sound Amplifier.
Designed for hunters and other gun sport enthusiasts, these earplugs offer protection from firearm blasts, as well as protection from loud continuous noise from vehicles and machinery. One of the most important features is the 5X amplification in the enhancement mode. As the press release notes, high-fidelity, natural sound is achieved via advanced signal processing, wide bandwidth, high-sensitivity microphones and high-definition balanced-armature drivers. The new-look GSP•15 Electronic Earplugs come with a selection of eartips that fit the majority of users, with custom molds also available.
