Residents of Safety Harbor, Florida have the opportunity to attend a free self-defense workshop at the Safety Harbor Public Library on Saturday, Aug. 2 at 1 p.m.
According to the Tampa Tribune, students will be taught basic self-defense techniques by seventh degree black belt Shihan Walter Evans of Shihan School of Survial Martial Art School in Clearwater.
The class is open to men and women of all ages. Best of all, there’s no fee to participate.
The Safety Harbor Public Library is located at 101 2nd Street N. Safety Harbor and is known for hosting a variety of different special events which are complete free to the public. Visit their website for a complete calendar.
