Smith & Wesson is equipping its popular line of M&P Bodyguard 380 Pistols and M&P Bodyguard 38 Revolvers with integrated Crimson Trace laser sighting systems. Boasting intuitive activation, longer battery life and high quality components, the integrated laser sights provide an accurate solution for those seeking powerful sight systems in their concealed carry and personal protection firearms.

According to the press release, the Crimson Trace lasers preserve the shape and overall weight of the M&P Bodyguard firearms. The M&P Bodyguard 380 is designed to deliver personal protection in an easy-to-carry, comfortable platform. It is chambered in .380 ACP and features a polymer frame with a matte black stainless steel slide and barrel. The barrel itself is 2 ¾-inches, the overall length is 5 ¼ inches, and the unloaded weight is 12.3 oz. The integral Crimson Trace laser, which is fitted on the lower portion of the frame, can be easily activated and is suitable for both left and right-handed shooters. For when the laser is not in use, this handgun has stainless-steel, drift adjustable dovetail sights.

Meanwhile, the M&P Bodyguard 38, which is chambered in .38 S&W Special +P, is a reliable and accurate self-defense revolver. This five-shot revolver comes with a 1.9-inch barrel, an overall length of 6.6 inches, and an empty weight of 14.4 oz. The right side of the frame features and external module designed by Crimson Trace. The red laser sighting system is easily activated for accurate use in low light situations. This handgun also comes with a notch-style rear sight and a pinned back blade front sight.
