Crimson Trace, a proven leader in laser sighting systems for pistols, revolvers, and long guns, is offering new rail mounted light and laser sight options for the Smith & Wesson M&P22 Compact pistol.
As the press release notes, the Crimson Trace Rail Master series offers red diodes, green diodes, Infrared or a bright 100-lumen LED light variant. In addition to having instant activation which allows for easy-to-operate tap-on and tap-off engagement, these units automatically shut off after five minutes of inactivity. MSRP for Rail Masters start at $159 for the light-only CMR-202 unit.
Another rail mounted light and laser option for the Smith & Wesson M&P22 Compact is the Rail Master Pro. According to the press release, this light and laser combo — which comes in green and red models — is lightweight, compact, and easy to use with instant activation. It attaches securely to the M&P22 Compact via the Crimson Trace’s Secure Lock Technology. In addition, the Rail Master Pro provides 100 lumens of LED light, and it has four preference modes: laser only, light only, laser and constant light, or laser and strobe light. The MSRP for the CMR-204, the green model, is $379. MSRP for the red model is $279.
