Minnesota-based manufacturer Magnum Research has teamed up with Cabela’s for four new and exclusive designs of the Desert Eagle 1911G and Desert Eagle 1911C.
According to the press release, the first two models are the .45 ACP “G” and “C” pistols, with model numbers DE1911GSBCAB and DE1911CSBCAB. Both of these feature a precision cast frame which has been machined from high-quality carbon steel. In addition, the gray frame has been treated with a high temperature ceramic Cerakote coating and boasts attractive black appointments. The slide, meanwhile, is machined from solid steel billets and has a matte Black finish. The MSRP for either model is $948.
The other two models being offered by Magnum Research and Cabela’s are the .45 ACP “G” and “C” pistols, model number DE1911GCH and DE1911CCH. These both have a case-hardened carbon steel frame via the Turnbull bone charcoal process. The MSRP for both is $1,120.
The DE1911G models have a 5-inch barrel with an overall length of 8.625 inches. The DE1911C models feature a 4.33” barrel length and an overall length of 7.87” inches. All four have a slide width of 1.28” and slide thickness of 0.92” and grip thickness 1.30”. See below for a breakdown of specifications.
