Canawacta Rod and Gun Club in Susquehanna, Pennsylvania is set to host an NRA 3 Gun Experience on Sunday, August 24.

According to the website, this particular 3 gun competition will focus on .22s. Participants must bring a .22 semi-auto pistol, .22 semi-auto rifle, semi-auto or pump shotgun (12 or 20 gauge). The cost of attendance is $5 for women and children under the age of 18, $10 for men, and $7.50 for club members.

The NRA 3 Gun Experience — described on the website as a “safe, family fun, mildly competitive, recreational shooting event” — is designed to expose new and intermediate shooters to the fastest-growing action shooting sports in the world. All attendees will have an opportunity to demonstrate their abilities using the same firearms and ammunition. In other words, it’s a level playing field. This event enables ranges to reach new shooters and maximize the number of participants in any given day or weekend event.

Participants are encouraged to have their paperwork filled out before arriving this Sunday. Download and print the Registration Form, Photo Release and Range Waiver. Call (570) 396-5033
