“It was great to see Mark and Maggie’s paths cross in their respective competition circuits,” Joyce Rubino, Vice President of Marketing for Colt’s Manufacturing Company, said in a statement. “As always, we are very proud of the outstanding marksmanship and leadership that our Team Colt representatives bring to the range.”
According to the press release, the match included ten different stages, with names like “Flying Plates, Barrel of Monkeys, Harsh Hallways and Barricade.”
“This match was a great combination of fun and challenging stages,” Redl said. “My Colt Combat Elite gave me the extra boost of confidence in the accuracy and precision of my shots that I needed to win my division.”
“Shooting this match with my Colt teammate and my USPSA Ladies Production teammates was a blast,” Reese added. “This was a great way for our Ladies team to practice together, in a high-adrenaline competition setting, as we prepare for the IPSC World Shoot this October in Florida.”
Redl will next compete at the Long Island Championship on Sept. 21. Reese is scheduled for the USPSA Handgun Nationals on Sept. 21. To keep up with all of Redl and Reese’s competition results this year, visit Facebook.com/ColtFirearms.
