I recently had the opportunity to visit the Wilsonville, Oregon, headquarters of Crimson Trace. Founded 20 years ago by Lew Danielson, chairman of the company, Crimson Trace has grown into one of the most influential accessories makers in the entire firearms industry. Built around a compact and efficient manufacturing facility, Crimson Trace designs and delivers cutting-edge light and laser systems for both the civilian and military markets.
During my factory tour, I had an opportunity to examine a sample of Crimson Trace’s first commercial product, a custom laser system for Glock pistols, as well as get a look at some of their newest and most interesting products. In addition, I had an opportunity to run some of these on company’s private range located in its manufacturing facility. As an added treat, I was given the opportunity to build an LG-401G green Lasergrip for a full-sized 1911 under the supervision of the company’s technicians. By doing this, I quickly understood how much skill, care and attention goes into each Crimson Trace product manufactured there.
Made here in the United States, the Crimson Trace line offers shooters a wide range of products from which to choose. And, it is important to note, that the company prides itself on its top-notch customer service. The company’s goal is to make sure that each and every customer is satisfied with the product they have purchased.
