The Smith & Wesson Model 642, now with LaserMax, enables positive target acquisition and enhances accuracy in low-light conditions.
This combination of the no-snag, hammerless design of the Model 642 along with the rapid target acquisition of the LaserMax sighting system offers an easy-to-carry personal protection package. The J-Frame, five-shot revolver is constructed of a lightweight aluminum alloy frame along with a stainless-steel cylinder.
The hammerless revolver, with its 1 7/8-inch barrel design, has an overall length of 6 5/16 inches with an unloaded weight of 15.3 ounces. Chambered for five rounds of .38 S&W Special +P, the Model 642 is an ideal personal protection handgun.
For convenient sight alignment when the laser is not in use, the Model 642 is standard with an integral front sight and a fixed rear sight for added durability. The double action only revolver also features a matte silver finish and is standard with the Smith & Wesson lifetime service policy.
