A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League (AG & AG) announced today that it will host four all-ladies squads at the Benelli Tactical Shotgun Championship from August 6-8, 2015, at Rockcastle Shooting Center. The league was initially going to fill 2 squads with 16 ladies, but due to the demand registration was increased to 4 squads.
Rockcastle CEO Nick Noble was happy to welcome more squads. He said, “I am pleased that there has been so much interest among A Girl & A Gun members. We are interested in increasing the number of women who participate in our matches.”
“This is a great match and our ladies wanted to get in on it,” said AG & AG Founder Julianna Crowder. “Rockcastle is a wonderful facility that really fosters a family-style atmosphere. It’s a great place to socialize with other competitors, which compliments our AG & AG culture of strengthening the community among shooters.”
The 4 squads will comprise AG & AG 32 members from throughout the country along with 4 squad coaches, who are professional shooters sponsored by Benelli. Prior to the event, the ladies will attend an exclusive shotgun clinic with Ryan and Dianna Liedorff Muller.
Dianna Muller is leading the professional shooters that are contributing their time to ensure that the AG & AG competitors are well educated and have strategies to have a successful match. AG & AG’s Competitive Edge Program is designed to partner professional shooters with AG & AG members to train them for successful matches and long-term participation in competitive shooting sports.
