As The News Journal reports, 21-year-old Marcel Dixon was walking on the 2400 block of N. Tatnall Street just before dawn last Sunday when he suddenly approached a 33-year-old man, drew his gun and threatened to kill him.
Dixon then opened fire on the man, but missed.
In fear for his life, the unidentified man drew his licensed firearm and shot at Dixon, hitting him once in the upper right leg. Dixon fled, but fired once more at the concealed carrier, missing yet again.
The concealed carrier immediately notified police of the shooting and police tracked Dixon to an area hospital where he sought treatment. He is expected to survive the shooting and now faces charges of reckless endangering, possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and terroristic threatening.
