Police in Concord, California are looking for a man who attempted to rob an area pharmacy with a replica firearm Monday afternoon.
As CBS San Francisco reports, the suspect walked into Oak Grove Pharmacy on 785 Oak Grove Road at 12:53 p.m. Monday and showed a firearm to an employee. He then began demanding prescription medication.

The employee refused to fork over the medication and a physical altercation ensued. During the fight, the store employee managed to disarm the suspect, who fled the pharmacy with an unspecified amount of drugs.
That’s not the end of the story, however. The employee gave chase to the suspect and, with the help of another citizen who happened to be on the scene, was able to retrieve the medication. Unfortunately, the suspect managed to get away. He was last seen getting into compact vehicle outside the store and driving off.
The pharmacy employee suffered minor injuries as a result of the fight, CBS said.
Upon arrival, police discovered the replica firearm used to commit the robbery.
The suspect remains at large and is described as a white male between 30 and 40 years old. He was wearing a white T-shirt, short pants and white tennis shoes at the time of the incident. Call the Concord Police Department’s investigative division at (925) 671-3030 or its tip line at (925) 603-5836 if you have any information.
