Taurus® is proud to announce another victory for Team Taurus with Jessie Duff winning the Ladies Open Division during the Area 4 Championships in Cresson, Texas this past weekend.
Taurus’s talented Team Captain, along with other top competitors, completed 15 challenging stages. The stages were widespread with a lot of running and movement. Targets were positioned at further distances with difficult presentations, making it more of an accuracy match. Jessie shot with precision, power and speed to claim first place in the Ladies Open Division.

“This year’s Area 4 was one of the hardest area matches I’ve shot,” said Duff. “It was an accuracy marathon! Having big field courses with a lot of movement will help prepare me for our upcoming USPSA Nationals this fall. The match conditions were to the extreme. The scorching heat, sun and dry range conditions pushed every shooter to their limits, along with their equipment. The match staff did an excellent job hosting the championships and making sure everyone had fun and stayed safe in those conditions,” continued Duff.
Duff’s next competition will take place at the IPSC Nationals in Frostproof, Florida on September 12-13. This will be the first of four qualifier matches for the 2017 IPSC World Shoot.
